Antiphonary of Bangor: the Te Deum, Gloria in excelsis and collects for the hours (Irish) (written at Bangor, Co. Down, c. 680–691)
English translation by AnglicanGuide from the Latin. Read the Latin edition. Words in [brackets] are supplied or summarise omitted matter.
The oldest British or Irish witness: not a full office but its texts, including the earliest surviving Te Deum (as the Sunday hymn), Gloria in excelsis "at vespers and at mattins" with the versicles that later close the Te Deum, and short collects for each hour. Only those parts are given.

Morning Prayer
The Hymn on the Lord's Day (Te Deum)
[Ps. 113.1] Praise the Lord, ye children: praise the name of the Lord.
We praise thee, O God: we acknowledge thee to be the Lord.
All the earth doth worship thee, the Father everlasting.
To thee all angels, to thee the heavens and all the powers therein.
To thee Cherubim and Seraphim continually do cry: Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of Sabaoth.
Heaven and all the earth are full of the honour of thy glory.
Thee the glorious company of the apostles, thee the praiseworthy number of the prophets,
Thee the white-robed army of martyrs doth praise; thee the holy Church throughout all the world doth acknowledge:
The Father of infinite majesty; thine honourable, true and only-begotten Son; also the Holy Ghost, the Comforter.
Thou art the King of glory, O Christ. Thou art the everlasting Son of the Father.
Thou, to deliver the world, didst take upon thee manhood, and didst not abhor the Virgin's womb.
Thou, having overcome the sharpness of death, didst open the kingdom of heaven to believers.
Thou sittest at the right hand of God, in the glory of the Father. We believe that thou shalt come to be our judge.
We therefore pray thee, help us thy servants, whom thou hast redeemed with thy precious blood.
Make them to be rewarded with thy saints in glory everlasting.
O Lord, save thy people, and bless thine heritage. And govern them, and lift them up for ever.
Day by day we bless thee; and we praise thy name for ever, world without end. Amen.
O Lord, let thy mercy be upon us, as we have hoped in thee.
Collect at the Second Hour
Be thou our protector this day, O Lord, holy Father, almighty, everlasting God, merciful and compassionate, our helper and guide and the enlightener of our hearts. Keep, O Lord, our thoughts, words and works, that we may be able to please thee in thy sight, O Lord, and to do thy will, and to walk in the right way all the time of our life.
Collect at Mattins
Thou art, O Lord, the enlightener of darkness and the maker of the elements, the forgiver of sins; great, O Lord, is thy mercy upon them that seek thee with their whole heart. May thy majesty, O Lord, hear us in the morning, and blot out our sins, which are not hidden from thee, who reignest, &c.
Gloria in excelsis, at Vespers and at Mattins
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men of good will.
We praise thee, we bless thee, we worship thee, we glorify thee, we magnify thee, we give thanks to thee for thy great mercy, O Lord, heavenly King, God the Father Almighty.
O Lord, the only-begotten Son, Jesu Christ, Holy Spirit of God, and we all say, Amen.
O Lord, Son of God the Father, Lamb of God, that takest away the sin of the world, have mercy upon us.
Receive our prayer, thou that sittest at the right hand of God the Father, have mercy upon us.
For thou only art holy, thou only art the Lord, thou only art glorious with the Holy Ghost in the glory of God the Father. Amen.
[Antiphons:] Day by day we bless thee, and praise thy name for ever, world without end. Amen.
Vouchsafe, O Lord, this day to keep us without sin.
Blessed art thou, O Lord God of our fathers, and thy name is worthy to be praised and glorious for ever. Amen.
Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us.
Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my crying; hearken unto the voice of my prayer, my King and my God.
In the morning thou shalt hear my voice.
In the morning shall my prayer come before thee, O Lord.
By days and by nights, by hours and by moments, have mercy upon us, O Lord.
By the prayers and merits of thy saints, have mercy upon us, O Lord.
By the prayers and merits of the angels, archangels, patriarchs and prophets, have mercy upon us, O Lord.
By the prayers and merits of the apostles, martyrs and confessors, and of every rank of saints, have mercy upon us, O Lord.
Evening Prayer
Collects at Vespers
At Vespers. At the evening time we call upon thee, O Lord: grant our prayers, forgive our sins, who reignest, &c.
At Vespers. Let our evening prayer ascend to the ears of thy divine majesty, and let thy blessing, O Lord, descend upon us, as we have hoped in thee, who reignest, &c.
Collects at Nightfall and at the Night Office
At the beginning of the night. We spend the time of night, O Christ, in thy praises: have mercy upon all who pray to thee from the heart, who reignest, &c.
At the beginning of the night. O God, who lightest the impenetrable darkness of the nights and brightenest the thickness of the gloom, keep our hearts, we pray thee, O Lord, in the work of thy commandments, who reignest, &c.
At the Nocturn. Jesu, graciously visit those who pray at midnight, the hour in which by divine power thou didst loose the chains of Peter, who reignest, &c.
